precious stone and the more precious

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone & asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation.The traveler left, rejoicing his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the wise woman.

“I’ve been thinking,” He said, “I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that

you can give me something even more precious: Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone.”

the greatest distance in the world is about 14 inches....it's from the mind to the hearth....but we need our whole lifetime to pass it....

!!!!?dog or human? which one

when i asked an old foreign woman why she is used to keep a dog,she answered me:

i am about 70 years old...i have brought up several sons and daughters....i have a lot of friends....i have done everything to them...i have helped them in every aspects as much as i could...

i spent my precious lifetime with them...i did favor to all of them...i loved them....but now....

but now they all have left me alone and have forgotten me forever....now the only loyal friend i have is my dog...

 i have a dog now which it is beaten by me several times a day and i just feed it once a day...i hit it..i force it to eat trash...to clean my shoes by licking them...however it never forget me and never leave me alone and even it is ready to devote and sacrifice itself to me..and it appreciates me forever...it thanks me because i have thrown a bone toward it  for once !!and he has assigned itself to thank me untill it's alive!!! it forgets my bad behaviors quickly and remember the moment i feed it....but human beings are vice versa.....!!... my thanksful peer....my loyal friend...my dog....

finally she said sadly and unhappily:

that's why i prefer a dog rather than a human !!!!!
